Ada is one of the co-founders of the National Girls and Women of Color Council, Inc. and co-author of "Live Life Beautiful: Affirmations for Girls of Color. "Ada has served in an office management/administrative position for over ten years. Her poise, professionalism, attention to detail and friendly demeanor have kept her at the top of her career with everyone she comes into contact with marveling over her personality and skills. She began as a Student Office Assistant to the Peers Educating Peers Program (PEP) at New Jersey City University while pursuing her B.S. degree in Business Management.
While working for PEP, which is a peer group that provides interactive outreach programming to the campus and local communities on social issues, she served as the Area 11 Delegate for the BACCHUS and GAMMA Peer Education Network Conference at Temple University in Philadelphia in 2006. She was the Area 11 Delegate and Presenter at the BACCHUS and GAMMA Peer Education Network General Assembly in Chicago in 2005. She received a Certificate of Appreciation for serving on the NJCU First Annual Conference: “See You at the Top: Empowering Youth through Education” High School Planning Committee."
In 2005 and 2006 she was chosen for NJCU Project Leadership, and in 2004 and 2005 she completed The College of New Jersey Alcohol and Drug Education Program. She became a Certified Peer Educator through the BACCHUS and GAMMA Peer Education Network in 2004. Ada received the Vice President for Student Affairs Award for Outstanding Leadership and Community Service in 2004, as well as the BACCHUS Outstanding Peer Theater awards in 2002, 2004, and 2005.
Presently Ada is the director of marketing and public relations and board member of the National Girls and Women of Color Council, Inc. Ada attended Saint Aloysius Elementary Academy, the Academy of Saint Aloysius which was a college preparatory high school for girls, and New Jersey City University. She was born and raised in Jersey City, and has two Lhasa Apso, Teddy and Gizzy, who are her spoiled fur babies. She loves plants and has an avid green thumb, Ada also loves cooking and traveling with her husband.
